Your responsibilities at LSG will include the following:
- Design and implement AWS cloud solutions tailored to the specific requirements of the customer to ensure scalability, reliability and performance.
- Monitor daily operations and ensure compliance with SLAs and IT security standards by the IT infrastructure provider.
- Design and architecture of network infrastructures, including VPNs, VPCs, subnets and routing to support cloud-based applications and services.
- Create comprehensive architecture diagrams, documentation and technical specifications to effectively communicate solution designs and implementation plans.
- Ensure appropriate communication with all key stakeholders, users and the regional IT management team to manage their expectations and proactively drive future IT infrastructure plans.
- Implement best practices for security, compliance and governance in AWS environments, including identity and access management, encryption and network security controls.
- Provide technical leadership and support to development teams, assisting with troubleshooting, performance optimization and infrastructure automation.
- Staying abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends and best practices in cloud computing and networking technology, continuously improving expertise and driving innovation.
- Collaborate with sales and pre-sales teams to support sales solutions, including participating in customer meetings, conducting technical presentations and preparing proposals.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in solution architecture, with a focus on AWS cloud and networking technology.
- Proven expertise in the design and implementation of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and VPC.
- In-depth understanding of network architecture principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, and routing protocols.
- Experience with network security concepts and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption protocols.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Advanced Networking or similar are a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical cross-cultural audiences.
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Fluent in written and spoken English, German an advantage
